Job summary

DTU Electrical and Photonics Engineering (DTU Electro) invites applications for a 34-month postdoctoral-like research position in robotics, control, and AI. You will develop hierarchical control for soft robots, integrating model-based control with learning and neuromorphic ideas within the CREA Group.

Applicants must hold a PhD and show strong track records in robotics, control, and ML, with excellent Python/C++ skills and experience in simulations and robotic frameworks.

Qualifications

  • PhD in robotics, AI, or control with strong publication record.
  • Proven ability to conduct independent research and publish.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or C++ programming.
  • Experience with robotic software frameworks and simulation environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design hierarchical control architectures for soft robotic platforms.
  • Implement neuro-inspired computational approaches, including spiking neural networks.
  • Validate algorithms in simulation and on real robotic systems.
