Job summary

The LEGO Group in Billund, Denmark is seeking a Portfolio Analyst to shape and analyze the project portfolio. You will transform portfolio data into clear recommendations for senior leaders, guiding strategic decisions.

Within Engineering & Quality Strategic Projects & Portfolio Management, you will manage data on resources, budgets and risks, develop dashboards, and provide governance-enabled insight to prioritise initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Data Management & Analysis: collect, structure and evaluate data on resources, budgets and risks.
  • Performance Tracking: build dashboards and reporting tools to monitor portfolio metrics.
  • Decision Support: prepare concise materials for senior management with clear narratives.
  • Operational & Strategic Support: ad-hoc analysis and process improvements.
  • Governance & Decision Framework: support governance structures and standards.

This Portfolio Analyst role sits in Engineering & Quality Strategic Projects & Portfolio Management in Billund, with no relocation support offered. You'll turn portfolio data into clear choices for senior leaders.

Our team guides a varied portfolio of strategic initiatives across Engineering & Quality, from sustainability projects to new technologies and play experiences. You'll help the LEGO® team see where resources, budgets, risks and benefits connect, so the right work moves forward with clarity. Together, we'll explore, experiment and learn.

Core Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Data Management & Analysis: Collect, structure, maintain and evaluate comprehensive data on the project portfolio, including resources, budgets, risks, benefits, delivery performance and others. Support scenario analysis and prioritization models, e.g. project intake process
  • Performance Tracking: Develop, maintain and continuously improve project portfolio performance dashboards and reporting tools to track key portfolio metrics and enable data-driven decisions.
  • Decision Support: Create clear, concise decision-making materials with compelling narratives tailored to senior management, enabling well-informed decisions. Communicate complex topics in a simple, easily understandable manner.
  • Operational & Strategic Support: Take ownership of ad-hoc portfolio analysis, reporting, and other operational tasks where needed. Identify and proactively drive opportunities to streamline processes, enhance workflows, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Governance & Decision Framework: Support and enforce governance structures, decision-making processes, and portfolio management standards that ensure accountability, consistency, and transparency.

  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency developing and data analysis tools and methods.
  • Experience from portfolio analysis, project coordination, strategy support or a similar data-focused role.
  • Comfortable using analysis tools and methods to turn information into useful recommendations.
  • Clear communicator who can explain complex findings in simple.
  • Collaborative approach, curiosity and readiness to learn new skills as the work evolves.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Please note that relocation support is not offered for this role.
