Job summary

NNIT is seeking a Site Reliability / Platform Engineer to operate an on-prem Kubernetes platform for a Danish customer. You will maintain Kubernetes clusters, collaborate with application developers and the infrastructure provider to ensure reliability, scalability and performance.

The role covers design, deployment, and ongoing management of changes in the Kubernetes environment, with a focus on automation and ITIL-aligned practices.

Qualifications

• Proven on-prem Kubernetes experience in production environments.
• Linux system administration and networking fundamentals.
• GitOps approach with declarative config and automation.
• Security best practices for Kubernetes deployments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize on-prem Kubernetes clusters for reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with customer development teams to onboard apps onto Kubernetes.
• Design, deploy, and manage changes to Kubernetes platforms.
• Develop automation tools for configuration, deployment and monitoring.
• Respond to incidents and participate in on-call coverage.
• Improve monitoring, logging and alerting.
