Job summary

Whiteaway Group seeks a Platform Engineer to join the Platform Squad in Aarhus. You will develop and improve Whiteaway’s internal platform, automate deployment, and drive modern, scalable tooling for developers.

The role emphasizes close collaboration with engineers, hands-on problem solving, and ownership of platform features. The ideal candidate has strong software, cloud, and DevOps experience, with knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in software development, cloud, DevOps or platform engineering.
• Experience with Node.js or Go is a plus.
• Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with GitOps is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Developing and continuously improving the cloud platform.
• Automating deployment and development processes.
• Infrastructure as Code.
• CI/CD pipelines.
• Containerisation and Kubernetes.
• Cloud infrastructure – primarily AWS.
• Monitoring, observability and reliability.
• Engineering tooling and self-service solutions.
• Security and access management.
