Job summary

Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer for the Platform team in Aarhus, Denmark. You will design, build, and maintain backend services that power payments, analytics, subscriptions, and text-to-speech features, while ensuring scalability and strong user experiences.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, deploy containerized apps, and help shape product decisions in a fast-paced, async-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
• Ability to design and implement scalable backend services and APIs.
• Experience deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public TTS API, internal APIs like Payment, Subscription, Auth and Consumption Tracking.
• Oversee the full backend API landscape, enhancing and optimizing for performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate on B2B solutions, focusing on customization and integration needs for enterprise clients.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with overall product strategy and user experience.
