Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking several Piping/Mechanical Site/Construction Engineers for a six-month freelance contract in Denmark, west of Copenhagen. Responsibilities include supervising onsite piping, pipe supports, spools, and modular mechanical equipment during pre-fab and installation, and coordinating teams of fitters and supervisors.

Ideal candidates will have 2-6+ years in piping construction within heavy industry sectors such as energy or petrochemicals, with a background in process plant

Job description

We are currently looking for several Piping/Mechanical Site/Construction Engineers to join my client based in Denmark, one hour West of Copenhagen. The client is looking for a freelance specialist to join for the next six months.

The client has carried out the pre-fabrication for piping, pipe supports, spools, and modular parts of mechanical equipment, you would be involved with the supervision and technical coordination for installation onsite with piping, pumps, flanges for process plant builds.

LOCATION: Denmark, West of Copenhagen

START: ASAP – September or October starts

Duration: Six-month contract

• 2-6+ years’ experience with piping construction projects, ideally covering fabrication/pre-fab
• Experience working in heavy industry, energy, petrochemical or chemical plant industries.
• Ability to given direction to a team of fitters, pipers and supervisors for onsite fabrication and installation, and carry out site based supervision for construction activities
• Process plant background, knowledge of piping, pipe fitting, welding and/or inspection

Duties will include, preparation for construction, checking pre-fabricated items, steel election, pipe fitting, construction, installation, and pre-commissioning

The client is able to interview next week, this would be a one stage process, expectation for offers from Teams meetings.
