Job summary

g2 Recruitment seeks Piping/Mechanical Site/Construction Engineers for a six-month freelance contract in Denmark. You will supervise and coordinate onsite piping installation, pumps, flanges for process plant builds, following pre-fab work completed by the client.

Start ASAP—September/October. The role requires strong leadership, site-based supervision, and knowledge of piping, welding, and inspection within heavy industry settings.

Qualifications

• 2-6+ years' experience with piping construction projects, ideally covering fabrication/pre-fab.
• Experience in heavy industry, energy, petrochemical or chemical plant sectors.
• Ability to direct a team of fitters, pipers and supervisors onsite and supervise construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for construction and check pre-fabricated items.
• Oversee pipe fitting, steel erection, installation and pre-commissioning.
• Provide onsite supervision and technical coordination for piping work.
