Copenhagen Business School's Department of Organization (IOA) invites applications for one vacant PhD scholarship in artificial intelligence (AI) and management education, with a particular focus on how students and educators engage in different modes of AI-assisted learning experiences. The project could focus on executive education programs and how executive education opportunities form a part of lifelong learning. Theoretically, lifelong learning can be approached from a number of different traditions within the Department of Organization's research areas. Empirically, the project is open as to what type of lifelong learning experience that can be examined. It could be lifelong learning in Denmark and the Nordic countries, but other experiences could also be considered.
IOA pursues a problem-oriented, business in society approach to understanding and intervening in organizations and institutions. Our research is driven by an interest in organization as a practical, situated, contested, and changing matter. Our approach is interdisciplinary and combines social-scientific traditions such as organization theory, sociology, science and technology studies, political economy, and social psychology in the analysis of organizing processes and their outcomes. IOA researchers draw on a range of different research methodologies encompassing both qualitative and quantitative techniques.
The department has six research groups and centers: Center for Organizational Research on Impact (CORI); Center for Organization and Time (COT); Organization, Markets and Governance (OMG); People and Organizing (PnO); Research, Innovation and Organizations (RIO); Work, Expertise, Technology and Organization (WETO).
The teaching responsibilities associated with the scholarship comprise undergraduate or graduate teaching and supervision in subjects such as organization theory and organizational analysis.
