Job summary

DTU invites applications for a PhD project focused on advanced light-based quantum technologies. You will combine nanofabrication, material science and photonic circuits to fabricate devices for light-based quantum computing systems.

The role connects with qubit pilot lines supported by the Novo Nordisk Foundation Quantum Computing Project. A two-year master's degree or equivalent is required, with subject to enrolment in DTU's PhD programme.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should have some experience in material science, semiconductor process engineering and/or photon integrated circuit fabrication.
  • Experience with semiconductor fabrication processes/tools and working in a clean room facility is required.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
