Job summary

The University of Southern Denmark (SDU) UAS Center invites applications for PhD positions focused on autonomous flight in confined and cluttered environments for multi-rotor drones, tied to wind turbine inspection with Vestas. Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, robotics, or computer science.
• Experience with perception, state estimation, or motion planning for robots or UAS.
• Prototyping of drones and payloads; hardware/software integration.
• Programming in C/C++, Python; real-time and embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Research autonomous navigation, state estimation, and motion planning for robots/UAS.
• Develop UAS platforms, subsystems, and payloads; prototype drones.
• Work on perception and machine learning for robotics.
