Job summary

SDU Drone Center, part of Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller Institute at the University of Southern Denmark, invites applications for a 3-year full-time position as engineer assistant to support our portfolio of ongoing and future research projects within Unmanned Aerial Systems.

The right candidate will contribute to research and development across drone platforms, subsystems, and payloads, working at both Odense Campus and HCA Airport laboratories.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree at MSc level or higher in drone technology, robotics, electronics, software, or related fields.
• Experience in several areas including drone platforms, subsystems, payloads, electronics, software and embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Support SDU Drone Center project portfolio and outreach activities.
• Contribute to research projects in Unmanned Aerial Systems across multiple domains.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design, develop and test drone solutions.
