Job summary

VELUX is seeking a Performance & Data Analyst to make data accessible and relevant for daily production decisions at Thyregod.

You will work on system administration, BI development and digitalisation project management, creating dashboards and data models for reporting. The role includes travel and a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Have education in production technology, data, IT or a related field.
• Knowledge of Power BI and SQL to structure data and build models.
• Experience with OEE reporting and data storage platforms is a plus.
• Able to explain data topics clearly to technical and non‑technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects within digitalisation and installation of project equipment and services.
• Build and maintain KPI and production dashboards in Power BI and OEE reports.
• Create basic data models in Power BI for reporting in the production domain.
• Define data requirements from production equipment and ensure data reliability.
• Establish standards for production-data handling and reporting.

Meet your future team

You will join a team at the VELUX Production site in Thyregod which consists of Industrial Engineers and an Engineering Specialist working with production data. The team values collaboration and enjoys open and direct communication when sharing knowledge and working together to find practical solutions.

In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organisation, including management, engineers and production employees, to make relevant data accessible and useful in daily operations.

What we offer

As Performance & Data Analyst, you will help make data available, understandable and relevant for reporting and decision-making. You will work across three main areas: system administration, business intelligence (BI) development and digitalisation project management.

More specifically your tasks will be to:

• Manage projects e.g., within digitalisation and physical installations of project related equipment and services.
• Build and maintain KPI and production dashboards in Power BI and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) reports for use in daily production.
• Build and maintain basic data models in Power BI, ensuring clean structures for reporting, within the production domain,
• Define requirements for data from production equipment and help ensure that delivered data is reliable and fit for use.
• Establish clear standards and practical ways of working for production-data handling and reporting.
• Work with IT, data owners, department managers, production management and external partners to develop and review data solutions, while sharing BI knowledge across the organisation.

The role is based in Thyregod with the possibility to work from home up to 2 days per week when tasks and projects allow. You can expect domestic and occasional international travel, approximately 10-15 days per year.

You are interested in how data can support production and operational decisions. You take a pragmatic approach, focusing on how data can support practical decisions and day-to-day needs. You can explain data-related topics clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues and contribute constructively when discussing possible solutions.

Moreover, we expect that you:

• Have completed an education in production technology, data, IT or a related field.
• Have experience with, or a clear interest in learning about, production processes and industrial data.
• Have knowledge of Power BI and SQL, including the ability to structure data and build data models for reporting.
• Have knowledge of, or an interest in developing knowledge of, OEE reporting and data storage platforms such as Snowflake.
• Can work systematically and detail-oriented with data quality and problem-solving while keeping the practical needs of users in mind.
• Communicate effortless in Danish and English.
