Job summary

Air Apps is seeking a People Operations Specialist to lead HR and recruitment operations from our Lisbon office. You will handle payroll coordination, benefits, onboarding, and employee data management, while ensuring compliance and a people-first culture.

This is a fully onsite role with potential relocation assistance. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in recruitment, experience with Ashby ATS, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience in fast-paced environments.
• Hands-on with HR operations including payroll and benefits.
• Experience using Ashby ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Strong written and verbal English; Portuguese proficiency a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment tasks including postings, sourcing, scheduling, and updates to candidates.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics and maintain accurate employee data.
• Support payroll coordination, benefits administration and employee services.
• Develop and communicate HR policies, SOPs, and templates to ensure compliance.
