Job summary

Novonesis is seeking a Student Assistant for Global Supply Chain Data & Analytics to gain hands‑on experience turning complex data into insights. You will work with analysts and stakeholders across global regions, contributing to data creation, structuring, analysis, and the delivery of actionable information.

You will help advance the digital transformation of the supply chain using modern data, analytics, and AI solutions while developing your technical and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
• You expect to complete your studies in summer 2028 or later.
• You have a strong analytical mindset and an interest in data‑driven decision‑making.
• You have basic experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, KNIME, Snowflake, Power BI, SQL, or similar.
• You can structure information and communicate insights clearly.
• You are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and learning new systems.
• You are comfortable speaking and writing English on a daily basis.
• You are curious, proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn, with an eye for detail while still being able to see the bigger picture.

Responsibilities

• Support data collection, validation, and preparation across supply chain areas such as global planning, product costing, warehousing, logistics, and Order‑to‑Cash processes, using tools such as KNIME, Snowflake, Power BI/Fabric, GitHub, and VS Code.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical insights, for example in Power BI.
• Document data models, definitions, and process flows to improve transparency and data quality.
• Perform ad hoc analyses that support decision‑making across supply chain teams.
• Collaborate with supply chain, IT, and analytics colleagues worldwide, with opportunities to take ownership of projects as your experience grows.
• Your exact responsibilities can evolve based on your skills, interests, and academic focus.
