Job summary

Arla Foods Denmark is seeking an Operational Network Planner for a 12-month maternity cover to manage end-to-end supply, balancing service levels, production capacity, and inventories across markets and warehouses.

You will join a planning team, collaborate with Supply Chain, Commercial and Production, and lead data-driven scenarios to mitigate risks, with presence at Rødkærsbro Dairy and occasional work from our headquarters in Viby.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree within Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• Have experience within supply chain planning, logistics or manufacturing, preferably working within S&OE or short-term planning horizons.
• Are comfortable analysing data and using insights to support operational decisions.
• Communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders across different functions and organisational levels.
• Are curious, proactive and motivated by continuous improvement and optimisation.

This position is a maternity cover and is expected to run for 12 months.

How You Will Make An Impact

As an Operational Network Planner, you will play a key role within the Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) horizon, ensuring that we deliver excellent service levels to customers while balancing production capacity, inventory levels and waste reduction across markets and warehouses.

You will join a highly collaborative planning team consisting of four Site Schedulers, two Operational Network Planners and one Component Planner, supporting two production sites. Working closely with colleagues across Supply Chain, Commercial and Production, you will help drive operational decisions that create value across the end-to-end supply chain.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Optimizing supply chain performance through root cause analysis and data-driven decisions.
• Monitoring relevant KPIs and implementing corrective actions to achieve targets.
• Conducting scenario planning to mitigate availability risks, reduce waste, and assess the impact of demand fluctuations on finished goods.
