Key Responsibilities
The position is primarily operational, with a strong focus on execution and project support.
Approximately 80% Operational Tasks
- Execute project procurement for international customer projects
- Perform procurement activities for operations and service
- Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate supplier quotations
- Issue and follow up on purchase orders
- Ensure deliveries are in line with project schedules and budgets
- Manage daily supply chain challenges and collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineering, and Production
Approximately 20% Improvements and Change Management
- Drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function
- Contribute to process standardization and optimization
- Support the ongoing professionalization of procurement across the organization
Profile description
We Imagine That You
- Have experience with project procurement, preferably within machinery manufacturing, the process industry, or another technical project-driven environment
- Possess strong analytical skills and can translate data into actionable insights
- Thrive in an environment with multiple stakeholders and varied tasks
- Communicate fluently in both Danish and English, verbally and in writing
- You have a sound understanding of quotations, commercial terms, and supplier negotiations.
- Bring curiosity, persistence, a structured approach, and a collaborative mindset. You enjoy being part of a team, contribute with positive energy, and appreciate a good sense of humor at work.
- Use Microsoft Office applications and ERP system effectively and naturally to support both operational and analytical tasks. At Andritz we have SAP.
