Onsite HVAC Design Engineer – 3 Months, Hillerød

Job summary

CBSbutler is seeking an experienced HVAC Design Engineer to support a major construction project in Hillerød. You will deliver HVAC calculations, size ductwork and associated equipment, and review technical drawings. This is a design-focused engineering position requiring previous site experience.

You must be available to work fully on site in Hillerød for the duration of the assignment. The initial contract is 3 months with ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Five years’ mechanical/HVAC engineering on large, complex building projects.
• At least one year of site experience.
• Strong capability in airflow calculations, duct sizing and equipment sizing.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings and producing redline mark-ups.
• Knowledge of Danish standards DS428, DS447, DS452 and DS469.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret airflow and instrumentation diagrams (AF&IDs).
• Complete airflow calculations and duct sizing.
• Size duct-mounted equipment (sound attenuators, fire dampers, smoke control dampers, MCDs, VCDs, grilles).
• Review engineering drawings and prepare redline mark-ups.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
