Job summary

QCS Staffing is seeking an HVAC Engineer for a Copenhagen, Denmark project on a 12-month contract in Life Sciences. The role focuses on supporting delivery by reviewing HVAC designs, ensuring GMP compliance, and meeting cleanroom requirements for a pharmaceutical facility.

You will assess airflow strategies, pressure cascades, and contamination control concepts, identify risks early, and coordinate interfaces with process, utilities, architecture, automation, and facility teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum years of HVAC experience in pharma/ GMP facilities.
• Experience reviewing HVAC designs from EPCMs, consultants, or contractors.
• Strong understanding of cleanrooms, pressure cascades, contamination control, and GMP requirements.
• Ability to identify design risks, constructability issues, and operational challenges early in the design phase.

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, are looking for a HVAC Engineer to support the delivery their project based in Copenhagen. The company has grown to become a world leader in the development, manufacture and marketing of innovative pharmaceutical products to alleviate some of the world’s biggest health problems.

What You’ll Deliver

• Review and challenge HVAC designs produced by EPCMs, consultants, and contractors.
• Ensure HVAC systems meet GMP, cleanroom, operational, and project requirements.
• Assess airflow strategies, pressure cascades, zoning, and contamination control concepts.
• Identify design risks, constructability issues, and operational concerns early in the design phase.
• Coordinate HVAC interfaces with process, utilities, architecture, automation, and facility teams.

Experience required:

• Strong HVAC experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, API, or GMP[1]regulated facilities.
• Experience reviewing and challenging HVAC designs produced by EPCMs, consultants, and contractors.
• Strong understanding of cleanrooms, pressure cascades, contamination control, and GMP compliance.
• Ability to identify design risks, constructability issues, and operational challenges early in the design phase.
