Job summary

NES Fircroft in Fredericia, Denmark is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong HV experience to support a major data centre project on a full on-site freelance basis. You will work with the project and engineering teams to ensure safe, efficient delivery of HV systems and infrastructure, including installation, testing and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent technical experience.
• Proven experience working on HV electrical systems.
• Experience within data centres, mission-critical, industrial, pharmaceutical, energy or other high-specification environments.
• Strong understanding of electrical installation, testing and commissioning.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience working with electrical contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety and HV procedures.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the installation and delivery of HV electrical systems and infrastructure.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with electrical contractors, suppliers and other project disciplines.
• Monitor installation activities to ensure compliance with design and project requirements.
• Support inspection, testing and commissioning activities.
• Assist with resolving technical issues and providing engineering solutions.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with applicable HSE, quality and electrical standards.
• Participate in technical meetings and coordinate with project stakeholders.
• Review and track technical documentation, method statements and commissioning documentation.
• Support the wider project team through construction, testing and handover.
