CERN - The European Research Center of Particle Physics seeks an Electrical Engineering professional to contribute to control system development for the 13 kA Energy Extraction System. You will perform testing, installation and commissioning tasks onsite, using oscilloscopes, DAQ, and PCB testing workflows.

The role emphasizes instrumentation setup, test execution, data analysis and meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in installation, test and troubleshooting of electrical/electronic circuits and devices.
• Experience with instrumentation: oscilloscopes, probes, function generators, etc.
• Experience with PCB production and tests.

Responsibilities

• Set up instrumentation devices and conduct commissioning and performance qualification tests.
• Debug and troubleshoot electrical circuits.
• PCB tests and validation.
• Set up DAQ devices and data collection.
• Test reports and documentation.
