Job summary

GEA Germany GmbH in Skanderborg seeks a site-based Project Execution professional to lead on-site installation, planning, coordination and continuous improvement. You will work with the Project Manager, Quality and HSE teams, and coordinate with customer reps and subcontractors to ensure project delivery to the highest quality and safety standards.

The role requires strong technical judgement, hands-on leadership of assembly teams, and effective communication across remote project teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead subcontractors and coordinate across cultures.
• Technical qualification in mechanical engineering or piping installation, with practical piping design/installation experience.
• Experience with risk assessments, KPIs, cost estimation and productivity analysis.

Responsibilities

• Be the main on-site contact for resolving issues and align stakeholder priorities with local consultants and authorities.
• Prepare upcoming installations by assessing material needs, arranging logistics, and supporting contractor selection through URS, RFQs and purchase orders.
• Provide assembly cost estimates during tendering and lead assembly teams and subcontractors, managing resources, deliveries and site supplies.
• Define a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), establish activity sequences and schedules, and monitor progress with engineering teams.
• Ensure assembly work meets company standards, uphold HSE requirements, and hand over SAT-approved plant to commissioning engineers.
• Maintain site documentation, record labour hours, monitor costs against budget, and report progress using EVM and HSE/financial forecasts.
• Alert Project Manager to risks, estimate assembly hours, handle change orders, non-conformities, site audits, and lessons learned.
• Supervise installation work at customer sites and contribute technical input through reviews of 3D models and documentation.
