Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Traveling Offshore Service Technician to join the global offshore wind fleet. The role involves carrying out maintenance, upgrades, component exchanges and blade campaigns across WTGs, working with authorised technicians and project teams offshore.

You will need a marine engineer/electrician/technical degree, 5+ years in electrical or mechanical systems, offshore/HV experience preferred, and fluent English with a valid driving license; safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Marine Engineer, Electrician, or technical degree.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with electrical or mechanical systems; offshore/HV experience is a plus.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) and a valid driving license.
• Proficiency in reading/interpreting technical drawings and using MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe work practice following HSE requirements.
• Coordinate deviations and communicate with Service Managers and Project Managers.
• perform maintenance, repair and replacement activities on turbine components.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems and diagnose faults.
• Register time and material usage in Vestas systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, managers, and subcontractors to complete tasks on schedule.
• Travel offshore to various sites as required.
