Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Traveling Service Technician to join our offshore service team. You will perform maintenance, repair and upgrades on wind turbine components across our offshore fleet and collaborate with engineers, project managers and subcontractors to ensure safe, timely completion of tasks.

The role requires a strong safety mindset, 5+ years in electrical/mechanical roles, offshore experience preferred, and a valid driving license.

Qualifications

• Marine Engineer, Electrician, or technical degree from a school/college/university.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with electrical or mechanical systems; wind/offshore or HV environments preferred.
• Valid driving license and fluent English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency with PC and MS Office to support daily work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe work practices in line with Vestas HSE requirements.
• Ensure PPE checks and monthly logs are completed.
• Communicate daily with Service Managers, SP Supervisors and Project Managers.
• Identify, register, and coordinate deviations.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems and diagnose faults.
• Record time and material usage in Vestas systems.
• Carry out maintenance, repair and replacement of turbine components.
