Join us to Make an Impact
Innovation is in our DNA. We invented supercontinuum lasers and photonic crystal fibers and we constantly reimagine how our products can be used and improved. Our customers use our products in medical and life science research, quantum computing and space exploration.
We seek curious, creative and collaborative people to work in our cutting-edge company. Can you see yourself working in teams and providing solutions for innovators?
We look forward to hearing from you!
We are rapidly growing, so we are looking for an additional engineer to join our New Product Introduction (NPI) team.
Our NPI team is organized in Product Engineering within Engineering. NPI bridges the gap between product development and volume production, being the place where prototypes and first sales units are manufactured and tested.
NPI is working closely together with development engineers (optical, electrical, mechanical and software engineers) for maturing the product, but also with automation engineers on manufacturing processes.
When a product has proven it can be manufactured with satisfactory yield and volume justifies, it will be transferred to our Operations department, freeing up space and resources for the new next thing.
In NPI we have a team of highly skilled technicians and engineers. Our technicians are the crank as they are manufacturing by far the most prototypes and sales units.
To succeed in this role, you should have a technical background in one or more of the following areas: optics/photonics, electronics, or production engineering. You have a strong affinity for processes and enjoy enabling others to follow them accurately.
