Job summary

Amgen Inc. in Copenhagen seeks an experienced Corporate Affairs professional to shape and deliver strategy for Denmark and Norway, guiding senior leaders and aligning local priorities with regional and global initiatives.

You will manage policy communications, media relations and stakeholder engagement across regulated markets, ensuring compliant, data-driven communications and strong reputational management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• At least eight years of experience in Corporate Affairs, communications, public affairs, policy communications, stakeholder engagement or related field, ideally in healthcare or regulated sectors.
• Strong experience in strategic communications, media relations, policy communications, issues management, executive communications, digital and social channels, and internal communications.
• Ability to advise senior leaders, manage sensitive reputational issues and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience managing, coaching or oversight to colleagues, agency partners or cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of Denmark’s healthcare, pharmaceutical, policy, media and stakeholder environments.
• Native proficiency in Danish and professional fluency in English.
• Strong cultural understanding across multiple markets and languages.
• Strong critical thinking, judgment and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Denmark and Norway affiliate leadership to develop Corporate Affairs strategies and plans with measurable impact.
• Provide proactive strategic counsel on reputational, stakeholder, policy and communications considerations.
• Lead Corporate Affairs planning and execution across both markets.
• Collaborate with Government Affairs, Value & Access, Medical Affairs and other partners to identify risks and policy developments and recommend engagement approaches.
• Advise on policy communications and stakeholder engagement in healthcare policy, access and pricing, sustainability, geopolitics and reputational issues.
• Build and strengthen relationships with journalists and patient organizations.
• Lead local issues and crisis management with regional/global colleagues.
• Develop local messaging and digital content aligned with Amgen’s brand and compliance expectations.
• Use digital tools and AI to modernize workflows and improve measurement.
• Provide counsel related to legal representation for Denmark and Norway entities.
