Job summary

Maersk Nordic is seeking an LCL Operations Agent to manage end-to-end export and import shipments from booking creation to final delivery in a fast-paced, international setting. You will coordinate documentation, cargo movements, customs activities, and milestone updates while maintaining service levels and financial accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience within freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations.
• Understanding of international transportation, import/export processes, and shipping documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with operational and financial data.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end LCL export and import shipments from booking to final delivery.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays and operational exceptions.
• Maintain updates in CargoWise and other systems; communicate with customers and stakeholders.
• Validate operational costs, vendor charges, and ensure accurate revenue/cost entries.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and support onboarding of customers to digital solutions.
