Job summary

Maersk Denmark is seeking an LCL Operations Agent to coordinate export and import shipments from booking to final delivery, ensuring operational excellence and accurate financial execution throughout the shipment lifecycle.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate with customers, vendors, product teams, and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced Nordic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience within freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations.
• Understanding of international transportation, import/export processes, and shipping documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with operational and financial data.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end LCL export and import shipments in accordance with Maersk operating procedures and customer requirements.
• Coordinate booking execution, documentation, cargo movements, customs‑related activities, and milestone updates.
• Ensure all operational processes, SOPs, KPIs, and compliance requirements are followed consistently.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, and operational exceptions.
• Maintain accurate and timely updates in CargoWise and other operational systems.
• Ensure timely communication with customers, vendors, destinations, and internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve operational performance.
• Support customer onboarding and guide customers on Maersk operational processes and digital solutions.
