Job summary

SATAIR is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure professional to manage and modernize our global network. You will work on Cisco-based systems including Meraki, Checkpoint firewalls, NAC, VPN, and SASE solutions, while maintaining critical documentation and coordinating with external vendors.

You will participate in on-call duties in a 24/7 global environment, with onboarding and training provided. A strong ITIL/ITSM background and fluent English are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar IT Infrastructure role.
• Deep knowledge of Cisco network ecosystem; Meraki a plus.
• Hands-on experience with firewall technologies; Check Point a plus.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• ITIL framework knowledge; ITIL V4 Foundation preferred.
• Experience with ITSM systems.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.
• Can provide references to attested skills and personality.

Responsibilities

What the job is …

You will join a team of skilled professionals, participate in IT Infrastructure projects and take care of Satair’s global network, consisting of Cisco ecosystem, NAC, Checkpoint Firewalls, VPN, Wifi and CATO Networks SASE solutions.

The position is located in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The role also involves creating and maintaining network documentation, you will work closely with network support vendors to coordinate troubleshooting and support activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for the daily handling of Service Requests through our IT Service Management tool.

Some examples of currently in progress projects that you will be deeply involved in:

• Cisco cloud managed (Meraki) transition
• Network integration with US based company that has recently joined Satair
• Migration to FWaaS
• Zero Trust Network implementation
• Security postures
• SAP Datacenter transition

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is technically proficient and can join us on our journey towards modernizing our global network infrastructure and assist in the planning and execution phase of projects related to Satair rapid growth ambitions. Proven track record of managing firewalls.

You are not afraid of embracing new technologies and are an eager learner.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar IT Infrastructure role
• Deep knowledge and experience with Cisco network ecosystem (Meraki is a plus)
• Hands on experience with firewall technologies (Checkpoint is a plus)
• Hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• IT-related education (IT Technician/Engineer) or a Bachelor degree
• Knowledge of ITIL framework, preferably certified in ITIL V4 Foundation
• Experience working with ITSM systems
• Fluent in English both written and verbally
• Written skills that demonstrates structure and care for the detail(s)
• Can offer valid references to attest your skills/personality

We operate in a 24/7 environment as we have locations across the world, you will be expected to be part of our on-call duty. The on-call duty will be approximately every 5th week after initial onboarding and training has been completed.

Satair's headquarters is situated in Copenhagen near the airport and we believe that presence makes a difference in our culture and team work. There is a possibility of working from home, but we look for a candidate who prefers to be in the environment, rather than the distance.
