Job summary

Topsil GlobalWafers A/S is expanding its R&D team and seeks a Simulation Engineer/Scientist to advance models for FZ crystal growth and related multiphysics simulations.

You will collaborate with engineers and academics to design experiments, validate models, and deliver actionable insights for next‑generation silicon production. A PhD or MSc in engineering/physics and COMSOL expertise are highly valued.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in engineering, physics, applied mathematics or similar.
• Advanced knowledge of COMSOL is highly preferred.
• Experience with multiphysics simulations in electromagnetism, heat transfer, solid mechanics, or fluid mechanics.
• Experience validating simulations against data or analytical solutions.
• Understanding of FEM and numerical methods.
• Strong geometry and mesh generation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and improved models to simulate FZ crystal growth.
• Run simulations to design systems and process improvements for growth.
• Collaborate with R&D test engineers and universities.
• Prepare reports and technical recommendations.
• Contribute to flagship project on next-generation FZ crystals.
