Monta powers the EV charging ecosystem. With 300,000+ monthly users and millions of charge sessions every month, our platform accelerates the electrification of mobility.
This is a fast-moving place. The problems are hard, the pace is quick, and the bar is high. If you like real ownership, figuring things out, and seeing the direct impact of your work, you'll do well with us.
AI is built into how we work. It helps us ship faster, make better decisions, and stay lean. Everyone at Monta is expected to use AI tools thoughtfully, and to find smart ways to use them to move the work forward.
Our principles keep us grounded: Build Together & Finish, Sweat the Details, Customer First, and Aim for the Moon.
The best part of Monta is the people — sharp, ambitious, and good to be around. You'll be challenged, supported, and trusted to deliver.
We're looking for a Software Engineer who's ready to roll up their sleeves, take ownership, and build with us, through the grind and the wins.
We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our Business Operations team. The team is responsible for the Hub and the back-office tools that operators use to run their charging business on Monta. This is a hands-on individual contributor role where you'll own delivery of meaningful pieces of our operator tooling and grow your expertise in the domain.
Business Operations sits at the center of how operators actually run their business on Monta - team structures, access, sites, and the day-to-day tools that hold it all together. As we onboard more operators across Europe, the platform needs to keep up: more use cases, more scale, more complexity to manage cleanly.
We need someone who isn't afraid to take ownership of what they build. You'll own medium-sized projects from design through to production, working independently within your team and delivering quality outcomes.
We are looking for someone who embraces AI as a core part of how they work. We expect you to be a confident AI user who actively finds new ways to leverage tools like Claude Code, Copilot, and Notion AI to move faster and think better.
If the mission excites you but your experience isn't a perfect 1:1 match, apply anyway - we care about potential, not perfection.
You’ll be expected to work with AI-powered tools. Some we use:
We don't expect mastery of all, but we expect comfort learning, experimenting, and adopting AI responsibly.
