Ascendis Pharma is seeking a Medical Director, Clinical Development in Endocrine & Rare Diseases. Based in Hellerup, Denmark, you will drive trial design, safety monitoring, and data analysis within the Endocrine & Rare Disease Medical Sciences group.
You will report to the VP of Clinical Science (US) and be available for evening meetings across time zones, with occasional international travel. The role requires leadership of medical monitors and cross-functional collaboration.

As a member of the Ascendis Pharma team, you will play a crucial role in driving the design, safety monitoring, and data analysis within the Endocrine and Rare Disease Medical Sciences area. You will join the Clinical Development team, being part of the Endocrine & Rare Disease Medical Sciences organization. You will report directly to the VP of Clinical Science who is based in the US. You will be based in Hellerup together with the Danish team.
Since you will join a team based in different time zones, you must be available for evening meetings. This position also may require occasional international travel.
You hold an M.D. degree and preferably also a Ph.D. degree. You have hands-on experience treating patients.
