We also collaborate with partners on the development of TransCon-based products in other therapeutic areas and markets.
We are seeking a passionate Global Medical Scientist to join our Global Medical Affairs organization. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert within rare endocrinology and support the development and execution of global medical strategies across Ascendis Pharma’s growing portfolio. You will work closely with colleagues across Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Commercial, Market Access, and local affiliate teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of global initiatives.
You will be joining the Global Medical Office and report directly to the Senior Global Director, Global Medical Office. The position is based at our headquarters in Hellerup, Denmark.
You hold an advanced scientific degree such as MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent, and have at least 5 years of experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, preferably in Medical Affairs.
You are a strong team player, analytical, and have a can‑do attitude.
You possess an entrepreneurial mindset and thrive in an informal, open environment where innovation and change are key.
To succeed in this role, we also expect you to be scientifically curious, collaborative, and able to translate complex medical information into actionable insights. You are proactive, relationship‑oriented, and comfortable navigating a dynamic international environment.
Approximately 20% international travel.
