Job description

Are you a driven mechanical engineer with a passion for designing advanced systems for space applications?

Do you enjoy working in a multidisciplinary environment where your designs directly contribute to real missions? We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to develop and support high‑quality mechanical solutions for our satellite products and future space systems.

Your Role

You’ll work in a cross‑functional engineering environment, collaborating closely with electrical, software, and systems engineers to design and deliver robust mechanical solutions.

In this role, you will contribute across the full lifecycle—from concept and design to manufacturing, testing, and customer support—ensuring that our mechanical systems meet both technical and operational requirements.

Your tasks include:
  • Designing and developing mechanical systems and components, including structures, mechanisms, and thermal solutions
  • Creating detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly
  • Supporting customers with technical solutions in collaboration with sales and support teams
  • Participating in prototype builds, assembly, and environmental testing campaigns
  • Collaborating across disciplines to ensure integrated and optimized system designs
Short- and Long-Term Success
In the first 6–12 months
  • Delivering high‑quality mechanical designs aligned with project requirements
  • Contributing effectively to multidisciplinary project teams
  • Supporting manufacturing and testing activities with clear documentation and technical input

Longer term, you’ll take ownership of developing robust mechanical solutions across projects, contributing to design improvements, and strengthening our mechanical capabilities for future missions.

What You Bring

You’re a dedicated and quality‑focused mechanical engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced, engineering‑driven environment. You combine technical expertise with collaboration skills and a proactive mindset.

You likely:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Are confident in mechanical design and analysis, preferably within aerospace or similar industries
  • Understand how to work with CAD tools such as SolidWorks and manage design data in PDM/ERP systems
  • Communicate clearly in English and can explain technical concepts to different audiences
  • Thrive on creating high‑quality, reliable solutions in collaborative and innovative environments
Who You Are

You’re contributing to mission‑critical systems. You take pride in your work, pay attention to detail, and understand the importance of quality and reliability in engineering.

  • Helpfulness – you support colleagues and contribute positively to team success
  • Open communication – you’re transparent, proactive, and follow up on tasks
  • True ownership – you take responsibility for your designs and deliverables
  • Structure & clarity – you maintain well‑organized documentation and scalable design practices
  • Technical insight – you understand how mechanical design impacts system performance and mission success

You’re motivated, curious, and committed to continuous learning, and you thrive in environments where collaboration, innovation, and quality are key.
