Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Interest in mechanical design, structural analysis, and product development.
  • Proactive, structured, and able to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong English communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Experience with CAD and FEM tools is an advantage; familiarity with NX, Teamcenter, and ANSYS is beneficial but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Support an improvement initiative focused on harmonizing access components across nacelle sub-modules and multiple wind turbine platforms.
  • Develop 3D designs using Siemens NX and manage CAD models in Teamcenter.
  • Perform structural calculations and verification using analytical methods and FEM simulations.
  • Contribute to the development of Design Guidelines and Design Basis documentation for access components.
  • Assist in prototype and test activities with the R&D workshop to ensure efficient engineering solutions.
