Job summary

GEA Group in Skanderborg invites an experienced Procurement and Supply Chain leader to drive performance across the Nordic region. You will lead a team and collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, Finance and Sales to deliver on cost, quality and delivery targets.

You will shape procurement strategy, involve procurement early in projects and optimize end-to-end processes to strengthen efficiency. Fluent English and SAP Ariba/S/4HANA/MDG experience are valued as part of this leadership

Qualifications

• Solid procurement leadership experience and a track record in management.
• Degree in Business Admin, Procurement or Supply Chain.
• Experience with project procurement, supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Fluent in English; SAP Ariba, S/4HANA and MDG experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop your team while driving procurement and supply chain performance across the organisation.
• Coordinate project requirements with procurement activities throughout the entire project lifecycle and be accountable for cost efficiency, quality and on-time delivery during project execution.
• Act as the interface between local business unit and divisional leadership, while ensuring early procurement involvement in both customer and internal projects.
• Review and support category strategies, identify cost-saving and cash-improvement opportunities, drive demand reduction initiatives and continuously improve procurement processes, KPIs and operational efficiency.
• Represent Procurement & Supply Chain in Project gate reviews, ensure compliance with procurement policies and sustainability objectives, and provide regular performance reporting and recommendations to management.

Responsibilities / Tasks

You will play a key role in ensuring successful project execution in the Nordic region. Acting as the link between local business units and divisional stakeholders, you will ensure that procurement is involved early in projects and that cost, quality and delivery targets are achieved throughout the project lifecycle.

Working closely with Project Management, Engineering, Finance and Sales, you will drive procurement performance, optimize processes and strengthen end-to-end efficiency across the organisation.

• Bring solid procurement experience and have successfully held a management position.
• Hold a relevant degree within Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or a similar field.
• Have experience with project procurement, supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Have a proven track record of developing and implementing procurement and supply chain strategies.
• Are fluent in English and experienced with SAP solutions such as Ariba, S/4HANA and MDG.
