Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure stable operations in our production environment in Denmark. You will perform preventive maintenance and handle corrective maintenance while collaborating with operators, specialists and engineers.

The role involves a night shift schedule (34 hours total) and a training period of approximately 3–4 months. A technical vocational background and experience with automation/PLC are preferred.

Qualifications

Job Summary

As a maintenance technician, you will be a key player in ensuring stable operations in our production environment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance


• Handle corrective maintenance in the event of breakdowns


• Work closely with operators, specialists and engineers


• Work independently during your shift, but with support from a team of 30 colleagues

Education

• Technical vocational training such as Automation technician, Aviation mechanic, blacksmith, or machinist with additional mechanical training.

Work Experience

• Experience working with automation, mechanics, pneumatics, water and steam


• Experience with preventive maintenance and maintenance systems


• Preferably with experience in pharmaceutical or food production


• Preferably with experience in automation/PLC or mechanical punching tools

Preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Basic English skills are a plus


• Category B driver’s license(preferably also a boiler operator's license, a truck certificate and a forklift license)


• Service-minded and able to collaborate well across functions


• Able to keep a cool head during breakdowns and while handling multiple tasks at the same time


• Able to work analytically, systematically and in a quality-conscious manner


• Able to plan tasks efficiently and take responsibility


• Persistent in finding the root cause and ensuring the problem is solved long term

Shift

• Monday: 21:40–06:10 = 8.5 hours


• Tuesday: 21:40–06:10 = 8.5 hours


• Wednesday: 21:40–06:10 = 8.5 hours


• Thursday: 21:40–06:10 = 8.5 hours

In total: 34 hours

The training period is approximately 3–4 months.

Pay Transparency

The annual base salary for this position is kr499,920.00. Total target compensation is determined using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, market benchmarks, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the role.

This position may be eligible for variable compensation and other incentive programs in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans within the country of employment. In addition, team members are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits and total rewards programs applicable to their location and employment status.
