Job summary

Zimaw is seeking a skilled mainframe network specialist to manage and support z/OS TCP/IP, VTAM, SNA, and overall connectivity across the enterprise. You will troubleshoot complex mainframe network issues, configure TLS/SSL, certificates, and SSH, and monitor performance, availability, and capacity.

The role requires coordinating with multiple teams to ensure secure, highly available networks. Start ASAP for a full-time assignment with CET overlap, offering hybrid or remote work arrangements

Responsibilities

• Manage and support z/OS TCP/IP, VTAM, SNA, and network connectivity.
• Troubleshoot complex mainframe network, routing, firewall, DNS, and connectivity issues.
• Configure and support TLS/SSL, AT-TLS, certificates, FTP/SFTP, and SSH.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity.
• Lead incident resolution, RCA, and problem management.
• Design and implement highly available and secure network solutions.
• Support DR, migrations, upgrades, and modernization projects.
• Coordinate with network, security, application, and infrastructure teams.
