Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Senior Technology Lead LNG to shape the methane-fuelled fleet’s operations from design through sea trials. You’ll apply deep hands-on expertise in methane engines, gas handling, and BOG management to ensure safe, efficient performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive sea-going and/or shore-based methane vessel ops experience.
• Deep knowledge of methane fuel and gas handling systems.
• Experience taking vessels from yard through commissioning and delivery.
• Strong safety and quality mindset.

Responsibilities

• Shape operations from day one, guiding design reviews, commissioning, and reliable water operations.
• Own the detail design interface for engines, FGSS, tanks, and gas-handling systems.
• Lead hands-on commissioning, gas-up, cooldown, and sea trials for first-of-class vessels.
• Collaborate with shipyards, classes, and partners to ensure fleet-wide excellence.
• Provide on-site mentorship to crews and stay ahead on regulations and technology.
