Job summary

Hamamatsu Photonics A/S is seeking a motivated student in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related fields to support Continuous Improvement efforts. The role focuses on analyzing material flow, improving flow through the value stream, and performing practical transactional tasks in ERP/MES and Excel.

You will work closely with the CI Engineer, collect data, prepare visuals for workshops, and help drive shopfloor improvements from data to action.

Qualifications

• Student in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Data/Business Analytics or related field.
• Analytical and structured approach to understand production processes.
• Willing to work hands-on with data and on the shop floor.
• Comfortable with data and Excel; experience with Power BI or ERP/MES is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support analysis of material flow, lead times, WIP, inventory and production performance.
• Collect, structure and analyse operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support flow improvement activities and prepare data for workshops.
• Follow up on improvement actions and document results.
• Perform transactional tasks in ERP, MES, Excel, Power BI.
