Job summary

VELUX Group seeks a Lead Cyber Security Engineer to drive secure engineering across embedded, cloud and mobile products. You will shape security culture, align with regulatory needs, and partner with multiple teams to ensure resilient, compliant products.

You will lead risk assessments, design reviews, and DevSecOps initiatives, while coaching Security Champions and translating complex regulations into practical engineering practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Requires a relevant degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience preferred.
• Expert knowledge across embedded, cloud and mobile security environments.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and end-to-end security.

Responsibilities

• Lead secure-by-design practices across the product lifecycle.
• Drive security risk assessments, design reviews and technical assurance.
• Embed DevSecOps principles and security tooling across engineering teams.
• Translate regulations into scalable security practices.
• Coach Security Champions and collaborate with value streams to improve security maturity.
