Arkitema, part of COWI, is seeking a Lead Architectural Project Manager to shape data centre projects from concept through handover, coordinating multidisciplinary design across international teams. You will lead meetings, guide decisions, and drive delivery of CSA disciplines while translating global concepts into locally compliant solutions.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in project management, architecture, engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with engineering consultancy or complex infrastructure projects.
  • Experience from datacentre projects or other large-scale, mission-critical facilities.
  • Experience leading large, multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Professional proficiency in English – verbal and written.

Therefore, we are looking for a Lead Architectural Project Manager to join us. In this role, you will work closely with clients, colleagues, and partners to shape and deliver data centre projects from early concept through to design and implementation. From day one, you will engage directly with clients - leading meetings, guiding decision-making, and driving the delivery of CSA disciplines across projects. You will translate global concepts into locally compliant solutions while structuring teams and workflows to ensure efficient execution.

Lead multidisciplinary design for mission‑critical projects

As Lead Architectural Project Manager you will provide overall design leadership. You will align client requirements, technical disciplines and operational priorities, and help teams navigate complexity without losing sight of what creates value - throughout all project phases from concept to handover.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead multidisciplinary design delivery for data centre projects.
  • Ensure coordinated delivery across a large multidisciplinary project team, including discipline leads and international engineering teams.
  • Set clear direction, create clarity, and facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Oversee project financials, reporting to steering committees, and proactive risk management.

Work location

The role can be based in any of our offices across Scandinavia:

Norway – Oslo, Trondheim or Stavanger.

Sweden – Stockholm or Gothenburg.

Denmark – Copenhagen or Aarhus.

We work in international and multidisciplinary teams, and many of our projects are delivered across offices and borders.
