Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Senior Engineer, Digital Innovation and AI to lead technical design and own solutions from architecture to production. You will shape the application portfolio, work with Azure AI and modern data platforms in a global finance setting.

The role emphasizes hands-on AI development, enterprise SAP-enabled contexts, and the freedom to propose bold ideas within a collaborative, inclusive team in Denmark.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in IT, software engineering, mathematics or data science.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Azure cloud services.
• Experience building data pipelines with Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Experience with AI frameworks, RAG and agents orchestration.
• Proficient in Python backend frameworks (FastAPI) and React is a plus.
• Strong SQL and database design skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and own solutions from architecture through production operation.
• Develop digital solutions meeting current and future business needs.
• Hands-on AI development including agentic AI for global processes.
• Collaborate across Finance, Legal, Procurement and other areas.
