Lead Agentic Platform Engineer

Job summary

Maersk is building an engineering platform to design, deploy, and operate agentic systems at scale. You will own platform capabilities from design through production, focusing on reliability, security and cost while leveraging an agent fleet to tackle complex tasks and automate repetitive work.

We expect strong experience with MCP, orchestration, evaluations and Kubernetes, plus infrastructure as code, observability and distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in production engineering of agentic systems is valuable.
• Ability to review outcomes with evidence-based reasoning and tests.
• Strong collaboration across domain teams to turn challenges into reusable tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own platform capabilities from design through production, including reliability and security.
• Use your agent fleet to explore repositories, implement solutions, build tests and investigate failures.
• Verify agent output through code review, tests, evaluations, traces and benchmarks.
• Work with domain teams to understand their needs and turn recurring challenges into reusable tools.
• Contribute to technical direction by evaluating alternatives and explaining trade-offs.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and promote best practices across the team.
