Job summary

Nitor Energy in Aarhus is looking for a proactive Junior Financial Controller to join our finance and accounting team on a full-time basis. You will own recurring financial operations, work with colleagues across the business, and grow into a broader role as we scale.

From day one you’ll handle reconciliations, invoice processing and payment management, contribute to reports with high accuracy, and suggest process improvements.

Qualifications

• Completed bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently on defined tasks and escalate when needed.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of recurring financial operations including reconciliations, invoice processing and payment management.
• Collaborating with Finance & Accounting and other business teams; coordinating with internal and external parties.
• Preparing financial reports and statements with high accuracy.
• Contributing ideas for process and system improvements and supporting implementation.
• Understanding our financial systems and data to troubleshoot and improve workflows.
• Performing ad-hoc tasks as required by the Finance and Accounting team.
