Job summary

Nitor Energy in Denmark is seeking a Junior Financial Controller to join our finance and accounting team on a full-time basis. The role focuses on ownership of recurring financial operations, close collaboration with colleagues across the business, and helping to improve processes and systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance-related role is an advantage but not required.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently on defined tasks and know when to escalate.
• Structured approach with good prioritization for growing tasks.
• Team player with excellent communication.
• Basic understanding of or interest in ERP and custom systems.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of recurring financial operations, including reconciliations, invoice processing and payment management
• Collaborating closely with colleagues in Finance & Accounting and other business teams, including coordination with internal stakeholders and, occasionally, external parties
• Preparing financial reports and statements with a high level of accuracy
• Contributing with ideas for process and system improvements, and supporting their implementation
• Building your understanding of our financial systems and data to troubleshoot and improve your own work
• Performing ad-hoc tasks as required by the Finance and Accounting team
