Job summary

VERO MODA is looking for a Junior Buyer who enjoys product development, commercial thinking and structured follow-up. You’ll learn by working closely with buyers, designers and suppliers to move ideas from concept to delivery.

In the Buying & Design team you’ll support the process from development to orders and delivery, coordinate samples, production and deadlines, and help maintain styles and product information in our systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in fashion industry within buying, product development or sourcing.
• Strong interest in product, trends and market.
• Structured, able to manage multiple styles, orders and deadlines.
• Comfortable working with systems, data and administrative processes.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

You’re eager to learn, enjoy working closely with buyers, designers and suppliers and take pride in keeping the buying process moving from idea to delivery.

YOUR TEAM

You will become part of a product team in our Buying & Design department, where buyers and designers work closely together to develop relevant and commercial collections that reflect our brand direction and respond to our customers and the market.

We move quickly, share responsibility and rely on each other to turn ideas into products and deliver collections on time.

YOUR ROLE

As Junior Buyer, you'll support the buying process from product development and supplier dialogue to orders, production and delivery. Working closely with the buyers and designers, you'll contribute to product development while taking responsibility for the coordination, follow-up and administration that keep the process moving.

Your responsibilities include:

• contributing to product development in close collaboration with buyers and designers
• using sales performance, product insights and market trends to support the buying process
• working closely with suppliers on samples, quality, prices and timelines
• creating and maintaining styles, purchase orders and relevant product information in our systems
• coordinating and following up on samples, production, orders, deliveries and deadlines
