Job summary

India Abroad is seeking a Back-End Developer to build and maintain the server-side logic of our web applications in Odense. You will collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration, write efficient, testable code, and optimize data storage and queries for performance.

This role requires a degree in computer science or a related field, strong knowledge of Python or Ruby, and experience with MySQL. Git proficiency and basic front-end familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of API development and database design.
• Experience with Python or Ruby and Git.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side logic for our web applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Write efficient, reusable, and testable code.
• Implement data storage solutions and optimize database queries for maximum performance.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development.
