Job summary

India Abroad is seeking a Back-End Developer to build and maintain the server-side logic of our web applications in Odense. You will collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration, write efficient, testable code, and optimize data storage and queries for performance.

This role requires a degree in computer science or a related field, strong knowledge of Python or Ruby, and experience with MySQL. Git proficiency and basic front-end familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

As a Back-End Developer you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the server-side logic of our web applications Your main focus will be on developing and implementing efficient code integrating data storage solutions and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end You will work closely with our front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic This position requires strong problem-solving skills attention to detail and a passion for coding

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of back-end development principles including database design API development and server-side scripting languages eg Python Ruby
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript is a plus
• Experience working with databases eg MySQL and writing efficient SQL queries
• Knowledge of version control systems eg Git
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary $900 per month

Location Odense Denmark candidate preference
