Job summary

Presto Engineering in Hoersholm, Denmark is seeking a Junior Test Engineer to join our Test Development team. The role is entry-level, ideal for recent graduates eager to gain hands-on experience with ATE testing, reviewing specifications, and supporting production releases.

You will design and validate test programs in Java and C++, work with ASIC designers, and help with fault finding and characterization tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science/Software Development.
• Junior position; ~2 years of experience is a plus, but candidates with little to no professional experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong C++ and Java programming skills; Experience with Linux.

Responsibilities

• Review test specifications and provide feedback on testability and solution requirements.
• Guide HW design team in designing test hardware.
• Implement test programs in Java and C++ and perform stability testing.
• Communicate with customers and ASIC designers throughout the design and implementation process.
• Evaluate test specifications for possible new test projects.
• Estimate implementation effort in cooperation with the Test Development Team Manager.
• Implement test programs in Java and C++.
