ADVANCED SYSTEMS ENGINEER FOR STRATEGIC FUNDING AND COLLABORATION IN DENMARK

Job Description

EURES Agenzia Piemonte Lavoro is looking for a junior Advanced System Engineer willing to work in Denmark for Terma, a company delivering advanced technologies and mission critical solutions for the defense and aerospace industry. You will work on a European defense project in the air domain, as part of a team dedicated to innovation-focused projects, working across departments and bringing together expertise from different domains to solve complex challenges in a collaborative and research‑oriented environment.

Role And Tasks

You will use model-based systems engineering methods to support system architecture, requirements definition, mission-level objectives, modelling, simulation, analysis, and integration. You will help analyze system behavior, refine system performance, create technical documentation and visual representations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders in design reviews and workshops.

Your Key Responsibilities Include

• System Definition & Architecture: Support system-level analysis, requirements development, and architectural design. Mission level goals and measures of success.
• Integration & Coordination: Contribute to defining system interactions and performance considerations across multiple components and domains.
• Analysis & Modeling: Explore system behavior through modeling, simulation, and scenario-based analysis.
• Tools & Documentation: Develop and maintain models, documentation, and visual representations of system concepts.
• Collaboration: Participate in design discussions, reviews, and cross-team workshops with internal and external stakeholders.

Requisiti

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS: We are looking for a curious and analytical professional with a passion for solving complex technical challenges. The ideal candidate enjoys understanding systems in depth, takes a structured approach to problem-solving, and can translate technical insights into practical solutions. They are comfortable working across disciplines and adapting to evolving requirements in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

• PhD or Postdoctoral experience in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong foundation in analytical and quantitative disciplines
• Exposure, or interest, in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is an advantage.
• Fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement.

The Company Need You To Confirm That You Can Obtain a Security Clearance By The Danish Defense Intelligence Service, And That All Adults In Your Household Are Not Posing Any Risk To The Related Risk-evaluation. This Entails Among Other Issues

• That you have as a minimum stayed within NATO/EU/MISWG countries for the last 7 years only interrupted by short stays abroad, and
• That you have not committed serious criminal offences
